This one doesn’t roll up but does fold up, making it easy to pack away or move from room to room. It’s made with a very thin polyester fabric that the maker claims is crease-resistant, and includes grommets around the border to help you secure it with hooks, nails, cords, or clips. 

Buyer’s review videos for Mdbebbron’s screen show them happy with it, praising the look of the image on the screen and the absence of any distortion — and don’t forget, there are a number of ways you can optimize that image. Downsides, however, include the lack of a stand, while the thin material means that it’ll be harder to obtain the totally flat appearance you’d get with a fixed-frame screen.

If the idea of banging nails or hooks into a wall fills you with dread, then a screen that comes with a stand is surely the way to go. Towond’s projector screen comes with a carrying case, making it a practical choice if you want to use it in the yard or the home, or even take it away on trips. 

The maker claims a short setup time, with no screws or tools needed. It even comes with an outdoor anchor kit comprising ropes, ground stakes, and two sandbags to keep the stand stable in breezy conditions. Take note, though — it’s a fabric screen so once again, you can’t expect to get the perfectly rigid and flat surface offered by a fixed-frame model.

Silver Ticket sells projector screens in numerous sizes and three aspect ratios. We’ve picked out one of the more affordable options in the STR range, specifically the 120-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio screen, though at $279.98, it’s far from cheap.
