Here’s How Olivia Jade Reportedly Feels About Lori Loughlin And Mossimo Giannulli’s Split
The actor and fashion designer reportedly tried “hard” to make their marriage work before their separation was announced last week.
According to People, the couple is “living apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are no legal proceedings at this time.”
The couple wed in 1997 and shares two children — daughters Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella Rose, 27. So far, neither of them has publicly commented on their parents’ split — but according to reports, it hasn’t been easy.
“It’s obviously been tough,” a source told People, “but Olivia and Bella aren’t taking sides. They both love their parents and just want them to be happy.”
The source also insisted that things are peaceful between them at home. “There’s no drama or resentment,” the source shared. “They’ve seen how hard their mom and dad have tried over the years, and they’re focused on keeping things peaceful and staying close as a family. At the end of the day, they just want everyone to be okay.”
The reason for Lori and Mossimo’s split isn’t clear, but it comes five years after they experienced public fallout for their involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal, for which they both were sentenced to prison. Prosecutors claimed Lori and Mossimo paid $500,000 in illegal bribes so their daughters could get into the University of Southern California.
Lori later pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud and served two months in prison. Mossimo received a sentence of five months. She was released in December 2020, while he was released in April 2021.
