AVTODOM Group, one of Russia’s largest automotive holdings, is expanding its brand portfolio. It is introducing cars of the Russian brand UMO to customers. The partnership agreement was signed in May 2026. Sales of the UMO 5 electric vehicle have already begun at the AVTODOM Zapad and AVTODOM Shmitovsky dealerships as part of this collaboration.
UMO specializes in the production of urban electric vehicles. The UMO 5 is the first model available to Russian buyers. It is a compact five-door front-wheel drive electric vehicle. Its modern 3-in-1 electric module delivers 204 HP. It accelerates the UMO to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. The range is 420 km in summer and 360 km in winter. Charging time to 80% is 30 minutes. The vehicle is equipped with six airbags, 360-degree cameras and an extended climate control package.
UMO owners get not just a car, but a full-fledged Yandex ecosystem: built-in services, navigation, and the AI assistant Alice who controls key vehicle functions. UMO is the world’s first car controlled by Alice. Daily driving becomes convenient and highly technological. UMO automatically determines location and displays charging stations on the map. It plays favorite music on Yandex Music or movies on Kinopoisk. The owner can use voice control to lower the window, change the interior temperature, play a favorite song or plan a new route without taking their eyes off the road. Remote control of the car is possible via Alice Home2Car and the UMO App. You can preheat the car in winter or turn on the air conditioning in summer from home. The UMO interior pleasantly surprises with its comfort: power and ventilated seats, a truly comfortable backseat and a spacious trunk with a compartment for tools and a spare tire.
Sales of the UMO 5 have already begun at the AVTODOM Zapad and AVTODOM Shmitovsky dealerships. The opportunity to receive government support for the purchase of an electric vehicle is a key advantage for buyers. The subsidy is 925000 rubles. It is provided as part of a preferential car loan program for Russian-made electric vehicles. The UMO 5 is assembled at facilities in Russia. This measure significantly reduces the final cost of the vehicle for the buyer.
The AVTODOM Zapad and AVTODOM Shmitovsky dealerships offer a full range of services: test drives of the UMO 5, assistance in selecting a preferential loan and subsidy, CASCO and OSAGO insurance policies and warranty and post-warranty service.
