If Music, Fashion, Film is a movie, then this is the post-credits sequence. Charli XCX released three B-sides to her latest album exclusively to Apple Music — or, as she still calls it, iTunes. “I made b sides for each of the songs released ahead of Music, Fashion, Film because it felt natural to pair each songs with a fitting counterpart — something that’s adjacent to the album but not entirely part of it,” she wrote on her Finsta. “I felt adamant I wouldn’t put them on streaming because it sort of felt counter intuitive to the whole ethos of those songs, but I know you all really wanted them so I’ve begrudgingly put them on itunes lol.” Three new songs — “I Keep on Thinking Bout You Every Single Day and Night,” “Playboy Bunny,” and “If You Take Away the Music Then What Has She Got?” — are available for purchase for $4.99, as well as accompanying black-and-white music videos.
Next on the schedule for Ms. Aitchison is an arena tour starting this September. Not to mention the theatrical release of I Want Your Sex, her film with Gregg Araki. And catching up on Love Island U.K. “I’m watching U.K., no fucking spoilers. If anyone says a fucking thing, dead to me,” she said at a pop-up event in L.A. “It’s kind of high art.”
