Classical and orchestral music streaming platform Symphony.live has been acquired by South Korean company Acoustics Space.

Symphony.live, a streaming platform dedicated to high-quality symphonic music, has announced its acquisition by South Korean acoustic engineering and audiovisual company Acoustics Space.

The strategic acquisition strengthens Symphony.live’s position in the music and media ecosystem, combining the platform’s global content reach with Acoustics Space’s technical acumen in sound and immersive audiovisual experiences.

Acoustics Space aims to differentiate itself in the market by delivering premium, high-resolution, and high-fidelity content services to ensure audiences experience performances with unparalleled sonic and visual precision.

Symphony.live works with some of the top orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra. By joining Acoustics Space, the platform will accelerate its roadmap toward significantly enhanced audio and video fidelity, supported by advanced engineering, data-driven acoustics, and technology innovations developed by the Acoustics Space team.

The integration will empower orchestras, concert halls, broadcasters, and cultural institutions to distribute performances with unmatched clarity and precision.

Together, the companies aim not only to raise the standard for how classical music is captured and experienced, but also to broaden the scope of available content. Besides orchestral performances, Symphony.live will expand into opera, ballet, festivals, and music documentaries, building toward a unique and comprehensive classical content platform.

“Symphony.live shares our passion for music streaming, and together we are redefining what’s possible by marrying the emotional depth of classical music with state-of-the-art technology,” said Martha Do, General Manager of Acoustics Space.

“By becoming part of Acoustics Space, Symphony.live enters a new chapter where technical innovation and artistic excellence intersect,” said Jeroen van Egmond and Maarten Walraven, co-CEOs of Symphony.live. “This partnership will allow us to push the boundaries of digital music experiences and to serve our partners with the highest production and delivery standards.”

The acquisition provides Symphony.live with expanded resources, engineering capabilities, and R&D support, enabling the platform to offer improved tools, higher fidelity content, and stronger distribution solutions for partners across media and entertainment sectors worldwide.
