DQ’s iconic chocolate shell is getting a minty green makeover.
Dairy Queen is really taking care of us this season. The post-holiday vibe in January and February can feel like such a drain, but DQ has been releasing all sorts of treats to keep our spirits up. First, the chain brought back the Red Velvet Blizzard for February, and then it debuted its adorable Valentine’s Cupcakes. I mean, individual ice cream cakes? Yes, please.
But if there’s one place where DQ really stands out, it’s with its signature dipped cones. I will forever be partial to the cherry dipped cone, but I have been known to dabble in other flavors as well. The chain kind of broke the internet when it launched the Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone last year—and now, it’s gearing up for a second act.
What’s the new Dairy Queen dipped cone?
This new dipped cone is for all the mint chocolate-lovers out there! The Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone is a twist on last year’s Crunchin’ Cookie version. It’s the classic DQ soft serve dipped in a crunchy mint-flavored coating packed with chocolate cookie crumbles. Oh, and it’s green—perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.
And the Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone isn’t the only treat heading to Dairy Queen. The chain is also dropping the fan-favorite Mint Oreo Blizzard as March’s Blizzard of the Month. This minty green Blizzard combines Oreo cookie pieces and creme de menthe with the creamy vanilla DQ soft serve.
When will the new Dairy Queen dipped cone be available?
The Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone will be available for a limited time at participating locations beginning on February 23. If you are a true mint chocoholic, you’ll want to head to your nearest Dairy Queen as close to the 23rd as possible to make sure you can nab one before they’re gone. The Mint Oreo Blizzard will hit stores on March 1.
