As Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, prepares to host the inaugural NCAA Women’s Wrestling National Championships from March 6-7, ESPN announced on Wednesday that it will broadcast the historic event on its family of networks.
The event this weekend marks women’s wrestling as the NCAA’s 91st championship sport and will see athletes from all three NCAA Divisions competing for national titles.
As for Iowa, which is serving as the event’s host university, the Hawkeyes will compete in all 10 Division I weight classes, with three wrestlers seeded as high as No. 2 in their respective competitions.

In their third year of varsity status, the Hawkeyes finished the 2025-26 regular season with a sensational 14-1 record, which brings the program’s all-time varsity record to 49-1.
