Este Haim Brings Creative Chops to Stunning Home Makeover, Courtesy of Lulu and Georgia: ‘Nothing Really Felt Like Home Until I Walked Into This Space’

Este Haim has been busy in the studio, recording new music with her sisters, including the just-released single “Relationships.” But over the past year, the rocker Haim sister has also brought her enviable creative chops to another loved space in her life: her Silver Lake home.

“Nothing really felt like home until I walked into this space,” Haim said in a statement, adding that her hectic travel schedule heightened her need for a grounding ambience. “My world is kind of full of chaos…when I come home I want it to be tranquil and serene.”

For the makeover, Haim turned to LA-based home decor company Lulu and Georgia, which outfitted her airy and bright space with cozy and inviting furniture and accessories. Highlights include an Aerwyna Hand-Knotted Wool Rug, the Lee Tall Sofa and a playful puddle mirror, all centered around a plush velvet Cara Sofa.

“It’s big enough for all my friends to pile on, comfy enough to crash out on after a long day,” she says.

“And the color,” she adds, “it’s perfect.”

While the living room is full of textured rugs, cozy throws, and calming earth tones, the bedroom is designed as a pure retreat, enveloping visitors in tonal pinks. She lovingly refers to it as her “womb.”

“I travel so much that when I’m home, I want to feel grounded,” she says. “This room does that for me. It’s like a hug.”

For the bedroom, she mixed in traditional silhouettes and vintage-inspired pieces from Lulu & Georgia’s collection, including this Rutherford 6-Drawer Dresser, the Chiltern Handmade Rug and the standout piece: the Newberry Platform Bed.
