
Govee has unveiled the new Outdoor Wall Light Pro, which is expected to launch in the US in the near future. This model features a couple of upgrades over its predecessor, including a higher maximum brightness level. Plus, it supports Matter, meaning it will work with many third-party smart home devices.
The new Govee Outdoor Wall Light Pro has been officially announced. The name of this smart light suggests that it builds on the original Govee Outdoor Wall Light, which was released in 2024 (curr. $79.99 at Amazon).
Govee’s Outdoor Wall Light Pro contains 72 RGB LED beads, with users offered a range of preset white and colored lighting effects. These can be accessed via the Govee Home app, where you can also find a DIY Mode. According to the company, the new model is brighter than its predecessor, offering up to 1,800 lumens rather than 1,500 lumens brightness.
Another change for the Outdoor Wall Light Pro is an upgraded mounting plate, said to make the installation process even easier. From a page on the Connectivity Standards Alliance website, we know that this product will offer Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and support Matter for a wide range of smart home integrations.
Govee has listed the Outdoor Wall Light Pro on its Coming Soon page on its US website. However, the exact release date of this new smart light and its recommended retail price have yet to be confirmed. The full specification of this product is expected be be unveiled at launch.
