Jack White, Daughter Scarlett White at Paris Fashion Week

“In Paris with the fantabulous fam of @scarbarbar and @misskarenelson after Scarlett’s runway walk for @anndemeulemeester_official,” Jack—who is married to Olivia Jean—wrote in an Oct. 4 Instagram post, before quipping, “We sing like this every Saturday, glad we finally filmed it.”

Cosigning on her family’s moment, Karen commented, “Keeping it real in this family.”

The singer-songwriter—who is married to Lee Foster—also marked her daughter’s multiple milestones in Paris.

“Congratulations @scarbarbar for walking in your first Parisian runway show,” Karen wrote. “And for getting your parents @officialjackwhite to do a TikTok.”

And while Scarlett—who made her runway debut during Valentino’s Spring 2025 presentation during New York Fashion Week in 2024—is just getting started in the world of fashion, her mother is clear that she isn’t expected to follow in either of her famous parents’ footsteps.

“I think Scarlett came out hardwired to be a creative—I mean, we were never the athletic family, that’s for sure,” Karen told Vogue in March. “But I’ve always stressed to Scarlett that creativity is an individual path. Her path is not going to be my path. It’s not going to be her dad’s path. It’s not going to be her brother’s path, or the path of her friends.”

As for Scarlett, she credits her mom for helping her forge the right connections before stepping back and allowing her to navigate her career on her own.

“I feel very privileged and grateful for the amazing people I get to work with,” Scarlett said in the joint interview with her mother. “And who have helped me set boundaries and want to help me build a career as a new model, and not just burn out.”
