Meghan Markle issues apology after As Ever stock error leaves fans disappointed

Meghan Markle’s fans have been left disappointed after placing a pricy order of her new $28 honey — only to be told that they will not be receiving the products.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, last week celebrated the official launch of her delayed lifestyle brand, As Ever, by releasing a handful of products on its website.

The “Suits” alum’s items included a limited-edition $28 wildflower honey with honeycomb, $12 herbal teas (hibiscus, peppermint and lemon ginger), $14 crepe mix and shortbread cookies with $15 flower sprinkles.

But less than an hour after the items went live, the entire stock had sold out due to overwhelming demand.

Moments later, some unlucky shoppers received an email saying the products were already sold out when they placed their orders.

Instead, customers were told they would be getting full refunds as well as another As Ever item of their choice for the inconvenience.

“The excitement created a volume of traffic on the site that even we couldn’t have anticipated (with everything selling out in an hour),” an email from the company read.

“I was so sorry to hear about what happened with your order, and that due to overselling we are not able to get you the Limited-Edition Honey. Please know the team worked very hard in every department, and felt just as sad when we learned what had happened.”

The mom of two promised fans they would be the first to receive items from the company’s next drop.
