Offset – “Ten”
Image Credit: © 2025 UMG Recordings, Inc. Offset‘s love life has been the topic of tabloid fodder for the past several years, but the rap star appears to be airing his own dirty laundry himself on his new single. Seemingly scoffing at a vengeful ex, which many listeners presume to be fellow rap star Cardi B, attempting to “get over” him, the Atlanta rapper describes the woman as being physically attractive, but toxic in nature.
Lyrics like, “I don’t need you, I got money/ I don’t miss you, I got money/ Love you, but not like money,” casts the father of five as being unbothered by the absence of a romantic partner, and are likely to result in speculation that one of Hip-Hop’s fairytale relationships has officially come to an end. – Preezy Brown

Kodak Black – “Single Again”
Image Credit: © 2025 Vulture Love, LLC, under exclusive license to UMG Recordings, Inc. Kodak Black‘s latest viral moment created cause for concern regarding the rap star’s well-being. However, Kodak has assured the public that he’s fully in control, as he shifts the focus back to his music on the emotional rap-ballad “Single Again.”
Unleashed right in time for the holiday, the song finds the Florida native shunning commitment for a life of philandering and debauchery. “I’m single again/ Back in the streets/ That relationship sh*t/ Just ain’t the life for me,” Kodak croons, his performance a mix of vulnerability and defiance.
Packaged along with the hitmaker’s other new drop, “Cluck,” as part of a dual release, “Single Again” is a reminder that while his personal life may appear to be out of sorts at times, Kodak’s musical ability has yet to be questioned. – PB

Cash Cobain, Rob49, Bay Swag “Trippin On A Yacht”
Image Credit: Giant Music After initially being previewed via livestream, Cash Cobain‘s anticipated release, “Tripping on a Yacht,” has been liberated for public consumption. Sticking to his sexy drill vibes, the New York native sets things off with a hook celebrating the joys of being inebriated and in the company of baddies and thoughts.
Assisted by costars Bay Swag and Rob49, “Trippin on a Yacht” finds Cobain attempting to extend the momentum he enjoyed last year into this new one, delivering another party anthem to add to his growing collection. – PB

Will Smith Featuring India Martinez – “First Love”
Image Credit: © 2025 Rave In The Wasteland, LLC under exclusive license to SLANG Music Will Smith continues his musical resurgence with “First Love,” the latest single from his looming comeback album, Based On A True Story. Featuring a soulful guest appearance from singer India Martínez, the track blends heartfelt lyricism with a cinematic instrumental, showcasing Smith’s introspective side.
Arriving ahead of his Premio Lo Nuestro performance in Miami next week, “First Love” follows a string of releases—including “You Can Make It,” “Work of Art,” “TANTRUM,” and “Beautiful Scars”—each revealing a different shade of his artistic evolution.
With its fusion of vulnerability and veteran confidence, the track feels like a love letter not just to romance, but to the music itself. If First Love is any indication, Smith’s upcoming album promises to be a deeply personal and sonically rich chapter in his ever-evolving career. – PB

DaBaby, Yung Miami – “Ima Hoe Too”
Image Credit: South Coast Music Group/Interscope Records DaBaby and Yung Miami discuss the joys of situationships on “Ima Hoe Too,” a collaboration that coasts on a popular sample and the occasional slick couplet, rather than the whole of its parts. Powered by a revamped version of the instrumental from K.P. and Envyi’s classic hit, “Swing My Way,”
“Ima Hoe Too” begins with DaBaby giving monogamy the gas-face, but professing his affinity for his favorite playmate. Swooping in on the backend, Yung Miami has her moments as well, referencing legends old and new, from musical icon Ray Charles to comedian Kevin Hart.
The hook comes across as mailed-in and uninspired, but somewhat grows on you due to its repetitiveness, while the rhymes are serviceable, but lack the sizzle that could’ve taken this selection to the next level, musically and commercially. – PB
