FLORENCE, South Carolina—Raines announced that restaurant veterans Chris Hall and Ryan Turner will serve as strategic advisors across Woven by Raines, the company’s lifestyle division focused on boutique properties throughout the Southeast. Hall and Turner are the co-founders of Atlanta-based Unsukay Restaurants and bring more than two decades of experience developing and operating restaurant concepts.
As Woven grows, the collaboration gives Raines and its investors the ability to bring restaurant outlets to life, program them consistently, and drive both revenue and profit throughout the portfolio. It also creates the flexibility to re-concept or refresh menus when a property calls for it, without significant capital reinvestment.
Hall and Turner’s involvement with Raines began through the conversion of the Rose Hill Estate in Aiken, SC, into a lifestyle experience consisting of a boutique hotel, upscale dining, and other amenities. Building on the success of that project, they will now help shape food and beverage strategy across Woven, with additional opportunities expected throughout select Raines properties as they emerge.
Statements From Leadership
“Partnerships like this are how we’ll continue to raise the bar on the guest experience and stand apart as a management company,” said Grey Raines, managing partner of Raines. “Chris and Ryan are two of the best in the business and bring a rare combination of restaurant credibility, operational depth, cultural clarity, and hospitality instinct. Their perspective will help us continue raising the standard for what food and beverage, and hospitality can become across our portfolio. We’re excited about what we can build together at Woven.”
“We’ve always created restaurant experiences we’d want to dine and work in ourselves,” Turner said. “We believe the hospitality experience is built from within, and every detail must be designed to feel intentional, personal, and memorable. Chris and I are excited to bring our decades of experience to Woven and support their vision for food and beverage that becomes a defining part of the guest experience. The Raines team understands that food and beverage is not just an amenity. Done well, it becomes part of the property’s identity and a driver of long-term guest loyalty.”
