Roterra 6 is coming later this year for more perspective-shifting puzzle fun
  • Roterra 6 is coming to mobile in December
  • It caps off Dig-It’s hit series of 3D puzzlers
  • Discover the answers to the epic Roterra story and experience over 100 levels of iconic puzzles

The Roterra series is one which is somewhat of an oddity on mobile. It doesn’t flashy gameplay loops or dazzling art, just simple jaggy polygons and a rather dreamlike atmosphere. But for fans of it, this is a good old-fashioned puzzler, and if you count yourselves amongst those, you’ll be glad to see that Roterra 6 is coming later this year!

By the way, I do mean later, as we only have a tentative date set for December. But it looks as if it’ll be worth it, with Roterra 6 boasting over 100 levels of its iconic perspective-shifting puzzles for fans to sink their teeth into.

Roterra 6 is, perhaps, upsettingly for some, also billed as the epic finale of the entire Roterra series (for now). But in the dreamlike story of this puzzler, you’ll finally find out how Angelica and Orlando got their magic, the identity of the mysterious wizard and the answers to other questions.

With the five-year anniversary of the first Roterra having just passed, it’s surprising to see Roterra 6 billed as putting such a definitive cap on the series. At the same time, of course, this is definitely one for the older-school players out there. Especially those eager enough to pre-register on the iOS App Store for a discounted price at launch.

While Roterra boasts mechanics and themes that still resonate with people nowadays, I always think of it as something much older at a glance. That’s not a bad thing, mind. But I can definitely see why Dig-It might be planning to move on, although hopefully this won’t be the last that we see of Roterra.
