- 8 lb pork shoulder (butt)
- Spice Blend (Brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper)
- 1 pint of Vonnie B’s Original BBQ Sauce or Vonnie B’s Mustaque Sauce
Set the smoker at 225 degrees using wood of choice*. Season the pork shoulder generously with the spice blend. Place the pork shoulder (fat cap up) for 8-12 hours until the internal temperature reaches 205 degrees. Pull the pork shoulder off and hand pull each part thoroughly mixing the meat, juices and rendered fat. Add a pint of Vonnie B’s Mustaque Sauce or Original BBQ Sauce and mix again until fully incorporated. Serve on your choice of fresh rolls.
* You can do this recipe in the crockpot on low for 12 hrs.
