The Peladn HA-4 packs the performance of the latest AMD technology into a compact format. With the Ryzen 7 7840HS and the integrated Radeon 780M, the mini PC offers enough power for office, multimedia and light gaming scenarios and is recommended as an attractively priced all-rounder for everyday use.

The Peladn HA-4 complements the growing range of mini PCs with powerful AMD processors and delivers convincing performance in the test. At its heart is the Ryzen 7 7840HS with eight cores and sixteen threads, which is still based on the Zen4 architecture. It offers a high level of computing power and is also very energy-efficient, making it ideal for a wide range of application scenarios. The processor is supported by the integrated AMD Radeon 780M, which, in combination with fast DDR5 RAM, is suitable for multimedia tasks as well as light games. However, the iGPU reaches its limits with modern titles, which is not only a problem with the Peladn HA-4, as our test shows.
The case combines a lot of aluminum with little plastic and gives a very high-quality impression, which is reflected in its high weight. In practice, the compact design is impressive, as the mini PC can be integrated inconspicuously into office or living room environments. Under load, the cooling system remains pleasantly quiet and keeps temperatures at a safe level. The energy efficiency is particularly positive compared to the competitors in the test.
In terms of features, the Peladn HA-4 offers a solid basis, but buyers will have to do without state-of-the-art interfaces such as USB4 or OCuLink. For most users, however, the existing variety of connections should be sufficient, especially as up to three displays can be operated simultaneously and a usable network connection with a 2.5 gigabit LAN port and fast Wi-Fi is available. However, the storage cannot be expanded, as there is only space for an SSD in M.2-2280 format in the housing. Nevertheless, with 1 TB of storage space, the Peladn HA-4 is quite well equipped. Other mini PCs, such as the Bosgame M4 ($367 on Amazon) or the Aoostar GEM12 Max ($383 on Amazon), score points in a direct comparison with slightly more extensive equipment but are at a similar price level.

I was already interested in technology from an early age, and I was able to study for my dream job as an IT Systems Electronics Engineer. Subsequently, I started 12 years of military service, during which I learned a lot about technology and constantly kept my knowledge up to date with the latest developments. As I like to share my knowledge, I found Notebookcheck was a very good opportunity for this. In addition, I also work a lot with water cooling and network security.
