Fashion has long departed from trends that would be considered safe. As much as the classic polka dot is enjoying a resurgence right now, some of the weirdest trends have succeeded at not only dominating our FYPs, but also our bank accounts. Yes, that’s right, the shoe style that was originally constructed for water activities like surfing or swimming is now a fashion statement. For a casual day of escapades in New York, the model wore a black T-shirt and black midi skirt with an oversize gray blazer and the Constance crossbody bag from Hermès — all pieces that would normally comprise a stylish outfit.
