This Is Jeremy Allen White’s Go-To Breakfast

It’s the “boss” of his morning routine.

Jeremy Allen White has skyrocketed to fame over the last few years playing tortured chef Carmy in FX’s smash hit, The Bear. But real ones know him from his years playing tortured sibling Lip on Shameless. And now he’s hitting theaters with one of his biggest roles to date: The Boss.

That’s right, Jeremy Allen White is playing Bruce Springsteen in the biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, in theaters October 10. He’s joined on screen by another intense Jeremy: Jeremy Strong, of Succession fame.

With so much on his acting plate, I couldn’t help but wonder what foods end up on his actual plate. So, I did some digging to find the answer to my favorite question: What do celebrities eat for breakfast?

What is Jeremy Allen White’s go-to breakfast?

Jeremy is no stranger to logging long days on set, whether for one of his TV shows or for big blockbuster movies. In fact, according to a Mashed article, when he was training for his role as a professional wrestler in The Iron Claw, breakfast became a peak time for him to bulk up with lots of protein and calories.

There was one item that Jeremy ate for breakfast more often than not: waffles. When he was growing up, the actor’s father frequently made waffles from scratch, and now that is a lasting childhood memory.

Waffles are a great way to start your day— just ask certified waffle aficionado Leslie Knope from Parks and Rec. I have to say, I do think waffles are better than pancakes, simply because I like the crispier texture that a waffle iron provides. This is also why waffle fries are my absolute favorite way to eat potatoes. No word yet I wonder if Jeremy Allen White’s fondness for waffles extends to the french fry universe as well.
