Ghost of Yotei Soundtrack

As promised during the game’s State of Play deep dive, two music tracks taken from Ghost of Yotei are available to listen to right now on music streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

The game’s original score is by Japanese composer Toma Otowa, who’s worked on all kinds of music for Hollywood films and video games.

Sucker Punch describes the soundtrack as a blend of traditional Japanese instruments — like the iconic-sounding shamisen — and western touches. We think these two tracks definitely get that point across.

The two tracks in question are Atsu’s Theme — self explanatory — and The Yotei Six, which we assume is the theme of the game’s main villains. Given the quality of these tracks, we can’t wait to hear what the full release sounds like.

He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he’s played ’em all. A little too much, some might say.
