Hotel openings in Europe

– SLS Barcelona
Ennismore’s first SLS hotel in Europe will open in Barcelona in early 2025. Known for its extravagant design, this hotel will blend luxurious accommodations with a vibrant atmosphere.
– The Hoxton Florence
The Hoxton has opened its second Italian hotel in Florence, following its Rome location in 2021. Situated in the historic center, the hotel features 161 rooms across two distinct buildings: a restored 16th-century palazzo and a modernist structure designed in the 1980s by Andrea Branzi.

Preserving history while embracing modern design
The hotel’s design, led by AIME Studios, maintains the historical essence of the Renaissance-era palazzo while introducing contemporary elements.

Accommodation options, including a new “House” concept
The Hoxton, Florence introduces a new “House” category, offering a three-bedroom, four-bathroom self-contained apartment. Equipped with a full kitchen, dining space, outdoor terrace, and private entrance, this option caters to families and groups. Additional features include a dedicated House Manager and locally sourced welcome gifts.
Guest rooms are distributed across both buildings, offering diverse layouts. Some provide views of the Duomo, while others feature private terraces with outdoor bathtubs or split-level spaces with spiral staircases. Design elements draw from Florence’s architectural history, incorporating classic motifs and a color palette inspired by the city’s landmarks.

Dining options: Italian cuisine with a modern touch

– Alassio: A Mediterranean restaurant offering dishes inspired by the Italian Riviera. Guests can enjoy a range of seasonal meals in a space featuring Murano chandeliers and a courtyard for outdoor dining.
– Enoteca Violetta: A casual wine bar with a selection of local and international wines, artisanal cheeses, and Italian appetizers. The venue includes La Riserva, a private space for tastings and events.

Supporting local art and businesses
The Hoxton, Florence collaborates with local artists and designers to enhance the guest experience. The Hox Gallery, curated in partnership with NUMEROVENTI, showcases emerging talent, while the ‘Best Of’ Shop features locally crafted fashion and homeware. The hotel also partners with Florence-based brands for sustainable pet products and city exploration services.
