DETROIT — It’s almost game over for the Tigers, for 2026. And it’s almost name over for Comerica Park, for good.
With the Tigers’ season entering its final week, after the team failed to qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2023, the team’s home ballpark is about to get a name change for the first time since it opened more than a quarter-century ago.
