Sony Music and Vietnam’s YeaH1 Group announce a joint venture to find and develop Vietnamese musical talent and debut a new boy band.

Today, Sony Music and Vietnam’s YeaH1 Group Corporation have announced a new joint venture to find and develop Vietnamese musical talent. This partnership aims to create a sustainable model for the country’s fast-growing music industry, with YeaH1 Group a significant player in Vietnam’s digital media ecosystem.

Launching at a time when Vietnam’s music industry is entering a new phase of growth—marked by the launch of IFPI’s Official Southeast Asia Charts, the country’s first industry-backed music chart—the strategic alliance combines Sony Music’s global distribution and expertise with YeaH1 Group’s production strength. The partnership focuses on creating new opportunities for homegrown artists, establishing a global standard for exporting Vietnamese music worldwide.

As its first major project, the joint venture will debut a boy group emerging from “Tan Binh Toan Nang (Show It All),” the hit audition reality program that captivated audiences nationwide since its broadcast earlier this year. Trained under a rigorous K-pop system led by renowned creative director Liu D, the group has already garnered significant online buzz across YouTube and social media. Their upcoming debut represents a meaningful step forward for Vietnam’s music industry and a testament to the country’s readiness to develop artists of international caliber.

“We believe that the combination of YeaH1’s high-quality content production experience and Sony Music’s global distribution network will create a significant breakthrough, putting Vietnamese musical talent on the world map,” said Ngo Thi Van Hanh, Chief Executive Officer of YeaH1 Group. “The ‘Tan Binh Toan Nang (Show It All)’ project is not just an entertainment show; it is an affirmation of YeaH1’s aspiration to create a generation of talented young artists who can bring Vietnamese cultural identity to international audiences.”

“This partnership is a testament to our shared belief in the power of Vietnam’s creative community and to build a vibrant ecosystem where artists can truly flourish,” concluded Shridhar Subramaniam, President for Asia and Middle East, Sony Music Entertainment. “By fusing Sony Music’s resources with YeaH1 Group’s deep local expertise, we are empowering artists to hone their craft, connect with audiences on a new level, and build sustainable careers that honor their unique artistic identity.”

Vietnam’s first large-scale idol survival show, “Tan Binh Toan Nang (Show It All)” is produced by YeaH1 Group and is dedicated to discovering and shaping the next generation of Vietnamese music talent.

After a nationwide search that drew thousands of applicants in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, 30 promising young artists were selected to enter the “Survival Stage”—a 100-day intensive program led by top Vietnamese and Korean experts in singing, dancing, performance, and artist development. Over seven rigorous evaluation rounds, contestants vie for a place in the “Upgraded Rookies,” an 11-member lineup that will represent the finale of their journey.
