Get it while you can

As part of the upcoming release of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Switch 2, accessory manufacturer HORI is releasing an electric Ocarina of Time.
Pre-orders went live earlier today on the Nintendo Store in the US for $49.99 USD. It will be released on 5th November 2026, the same date as the game.

This Electric Ocarina is designed for use with the “sound recognition” feature in the Switch 2 version of Ocarina of Time.
It allows you to interact with the game through music, and when you play a song, the Switch 2 system picks up the sound and triggers the corresponding in-game action.

You’ll be able to choose between “two distinct play modes” including a free play mode and auto-play mode, which plays 12 in-game songs with a press of a button. It’s also got a built-in volume control dial to adjust the sound and a headphone jack.
If you miss out on the initial stock, it’s worth checking back the store for restocks. In other regions, Nintendo has also said it will be replenishing stock in the Zelda 40th anniversary collection.
What do you think of this Electric Ocarina by HORI? Were you able to secure a pre-order? Let us know in the comments.
